Award| Jimei University Food Science and Engineering "Excellent Engineer Cultivation Program" Practice Education Base

On August 2nd, the awarding ceremony of the "Excellent Engineer Training Program" practical education base for food science and engineering at Jimei University was held at the Yuanfeng Haike Prefabricated Vegetable Research and Innovation Center. A delegation of five people, including Sun Lechang, Deputy Director and Associate Professor of the Department of Marine Food and Biotechnology at Jimei University, and Zhou Yongbo, Outstanding Class Mentor and Distinguished Professor, went to the company to hold a licensing ceremony.

Symposium

Before the medal ceremony, a symposium was organized. At the meeting, Ma Junfei, the assistant to the chairman of Yuanfeng Haike, warmly welcomed the arrival of the college leaders on behalf of the company, and warmly welcomed two college students who were about to intern at the company. He also introduced the development situation and future plans of Yuanfeng Haike.

At the meeting, Associate Professor Sun Lechang focused on introducing the development of the college and the situation of key majors, while Professor Zhou Yongbo focused on introducing some current hot events in the food industry and the relevant standards of the food product industry.

After the meeting, we visited the Yuanfeng Haike Prefabricated Vegetable Research and Innovation Center. The center has a 500 square meter independent research and development room, with a complete system for the research and development, processing, testing, and experimentation of prefabricated dishes. There are 4 senior food expert consultants, 3 product development engineers and Chinese culinary masters, and 3 quality control technicians.

Professor Zhou Yongbo and Associate Professor Sun Lechang gave high praise to our company's Prefabricated Vegetable Research and Innovation Center, and provided suggestions for the development of prefabricated vegetables.

Both sides unanimously stated that they will continue to increase cooperation in the future, jointly promote the integrated development of industry, academia and research, and strive to achieve "school enterprise cooperation, industry and academia win-win". The school will use the industry university research cooperation base project to send more talents to Yuanfeng Haike, and help talents build and realize their dreams in the enterprise!

It is reported that this year, Jimei University has selected 17 out of over 200 college students as outstanding engineering education and training targets, and 2 college students who interned at the company are from among them.

Finally, Associate Professor Sun Lechang awarded the company the plaque "Jimei University Food Science and Engineering 'Excellent Engineer Training Program' Practice Education Base" and took a group photo as a souvenir.
